Prarthana Global Sainik School is located at quiet and pleasant locale 3 Kms away from Modasa township of Arvalli district in Gujarat. The climate of Modasa is hot in summers and moderate cold in winters. Modasa is located 90 Kms away from Ahmedabad on Ahmedabad Udaipur (150 Kms) axis. The nearest railway station is at Shamlaji Road (30 Kms) & Himmatnagar (45 Kms) and adequate number of buses are available from Modasa to Ahmedabad throughout the day. Ahmedabad has well established network of railways and flights across the country.
Origin & History
Prarthana Global School has come into existence in the year 2015 with the aim of providing high quality education affiliated to CBSE board with high values and Indian culture embedded in its curriculum to provide all ground growth to its students. Over a period of time it has become a centre of education not only for students of Modasa but for students of Aravalli district of villages around.
It’s honour of Prarthana Global School (Prarthana Foundation Charitable Trust) to get approval from the Ministry of Defence to start a New Sainik School[NSS] in public private partnership (PPP) model from academic year 2025-26 ( MoA was signed between Ministry of Defence and Chairman Prarthana Global School on 10th July 2025 ).
New Sainik Schools (NSS) are being established across the country as a new initiative by Ministry of Defence under the government of India in public private partnership model.
Vision of Prime Minister Shri Narendra bhai Modi behind establishing these New Sainik Schools across the country in PPP model is to provide military bias education to more students across the country to enable them to take up career in the armed forces and also to develop leadership qualities, camaraderie , discipline, values strongly embedded in Indian ethos, culture & heritage and also develop their personality to enable them to take up higher responsibilities as true leaders & better citizens of the country in all walks of lives in future in nation building.
Prarthana Global Sainik School is being established as English medium school with CBSE education with the PLUS curriculum designed by Sainik School Society keeping in mind the holistic development of students in the schools with a military bias with a clear objective of providing high quality public School education and leadership & discipline training to handpicked children, grooming them to become officers in the Indian Armed Forces and leaders in other walks of life for the country. From its inception the school will be dedicated in imparting a unique blend of academic excellence and military values, shaping young minds into courageous disciplined, patriotic and responsible citizens of the country.
