OVERVIEW

Application for Entrance Examination for admission to class VI/IX in are released every year in the month of Sep/Oct tentavely. Candidates can apply only through online mode from the official website of the Sainik School Society.

Sainik Schools offer admission at the level of Class VI and Class IX. Admission is based on the performance of candidates in the All India Sainik Schools Entrance Examination (AISSEE). For eligibility, date of exam, application fee, scheme of exam, exam cities, how to apply, etc, candidates are advised to go through the Information Bulletins given on the Sanik School Society website, Home page in detail.

ANNOUNCEMENT FOR INVITING ONLINE APPLICATION

Applications are invited for admission in Class VI (for Boys & Girls) & in Class IX (for Boys only) every year by Sanik School Society for AISSEE. The National Testing Agency (NTA), established by Ministry of Education, Government of India is the conducting authority for the  AISSEE for admission to Class VI and Class IX in all Sainik Schools  across the country. Sainik Schools are English medium residential schools affiliated to CBSE and managed by Sainik Schools Society (Ministry of Defence). They prepare cadets to join the National Defence Academy, Indian Naval Academy and other training academies for Officers.

Eligibility for admission to Class VI

Candidates should be between 10 and 12 years as on 31.03.20…… Admission for Girls is open in Class VI only in all Sainik Schools.

Eligibility for admission to Class IX

Candidates should be between 13 and 15 years as on 31.03.202… and should have passed Class VIII, from a recognized school, at the time of admission.
